so they put what appears to be the whole dead man's bones album up on their myspace

and it's pretty fantastic.

i saw them live on friday

accompanied by a special marionette show and the silverlake children's choir

and ohhhh it was great

we sat on the floor in the front behind detective gordon's kids

and across from devendra (who is quite small in real life...) and kat dennings

anyhow, the real show was not the crowd

but the little kids singing and dancing

the spooky puppets

and the oh so handsome men and women running the show

so many of the collections i've seen have been lovely but without a common thread.
the thread here is strong.
nothing groundbreaking, perhaps (because so many collections are...cough.), but the proportions interesting - slightly off in a few places and i like it. a little wide, a little short, they play with a woman's shape in a curious way.


and if i don't get my hands on that black heart dress i just won't know what to do with myself.

i like the prada collection.
mostly though, the lip and pigtails are amazing.
i need to find this lipstick.


the hair (and the braids at the wang show...) makes me sad i don't have long hair anymore.
but then i remember my hair looked fairly ridiculous in braids and pigtails.
and i like it now.
so nevermind.
